Nimrod Journal’s Write Night and Conference for Readers and Writers

Nimrod International Journal’s Conference for Readers and Writers will feature classes on writing YA fantasy, romance, mystery, poetry, and more. I’m teaching a class on the basics of submitting work to journals and literary agents entitled “Publishing 101: A Beginner’s Guide to Getting Your Work Out There.” Other guests include YA fantasy authors Brenna Yovanoff and Sherry Thomas, poets Robin Coste Lewis and Chloe Honum, fiction writers Angela Turner and Toni Jensen, and mystery writer Will Thomas. Scholarships to lower the cost of the Conference are available, especially for students and teachers.
